  • This project, funded by the 2024 Transdisciplinary Research Seed Fund Program, aims to enhance human-machine and human-human interactions through an AI companion that recognizes users by voice, analyzes speech intent and sentiment, and provides real-time feedback. The AI companion supports communication in counseling, education, and leadership by offering insights and recommendations to improve relational outcomes and decision-making processes. The project involves collaboration with community partners, including OSU Counseling and Psychological Services, and includes explainability studies to understand the AI's decision-making processes and its impact on human interactions.
